Louise’s story

Whoever you are, you are here because you have faced hair loss yourself, or have a loved one who has.

After being diagnosed with systemic lupus (SLE) and later Stage 3 lung cancer, the emotional and physical toll of both illnesses, combined with the harsh effects of treatment, was overwhelming. One of the most difficult experiences was losing my hair. It wasn’t just about my appearance; it felt like I had lost a part of my identity. I found it hard to even look at myself in the mirror.

In my search for hair replacement solutions, I tried several wigs, but they only made matters worse. They looked and felt unnatural, were often made with a blend of synthetic and animal hair, and had undergone heavy chemical processing. Not only did they make me feel less confident, but they also caused scalp irritation and, in some cases, painful sores.

That was when I decided to search for something better. I became committed to finding a solution free from animal hair and synthetic materials—something safer, gentler, and more natural. I began developing products processed using only plant-based methods, and using 100% all-natural human hair, so that others in similar situations could look good, feel good, and avoid the discomfort and side effects of conventional wigs.

This personal journey led to the founding of Diva Maker Hair Prosthetics.

Today, I live a very active lifestyle thanks to this amazing solution we have developed.
